Zen
In a nutshell:
Zen was born and raised in Johnston County, North Carolina. He grew up in the church and believes that his soulful spirit follows. His purpose is to create art, not music. Through meaningful lyrics and passionate recording sessions, he encourages listeners to hear and see past the surface level of his work with tunes that allow you to relate and feel, instead of just passively listening.
Why the name?
Aside from his stature, he has a caring heart. If you know him personally, you’d understand the work ethic and drive that feeds to the nature of his name. There are also some other hidden meanings behind this alias that relate to his real life character.
Back Story:
Zen studied Political Science at Randolph Macon in Virginia, where he also had an illustrious, record-breaking college football tenure that turned into a professional football career before he set his sights on something closer to home. Zen truly thrives when helping others. As evidenced by his work as an intern for the Virginia Minority House Seat Leader, an athletic trainer, a customer sales representative, and a mentor and volunteer for various community groups. In addition to being passionate about helping those around him, Zen’s interest and talents in the arts led him to pursue a minor in Music from RMC, and he continues to be a fervent supporter of visual and performing arts, even contributing his own voice to the world of music.

Jean Alexander
Jean Alexander is a Raleigh, North Carolina native whose path to music was shaped by patience, timing, and life itself. Although he purchased FL Studio in 2012, the software remained untouched for nearly a decade. It wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic—amid lockdowns, and global uncertainty—that Jean turned inward, searching for something meaningful to build. In a moment defined by isolation, unrest, and reflection, a music theory class became the turning point; unlocking something that had been dormant, and the pieces finally began to connect.
Concepts that once felt distant finally made sense, opening the door to a creative awakening. Drawing from late nights and lived experience, Jean’s music exists in the space between genres—where hip-hop, electronic textures, ambient tension, and cinematic scoring quietly intersect. His sounds are universal: moody, intentional, and emotionally driven rather than trend-chasing. What followed was years of focused growth, experimentation, and self-expression.
By 2025, Jean Alexander had fully stepped into his creative voice. Each track is built to feel immersive, designed less for the background and more for the moment. His hope is simple—to create music that moves you, and says something without needing to explain itself.
